There are many different styles of writing reviews. If you need help writing a good review, it helps to know about these different styles. You can also combine these review methods to make an even bigger and more detailed review. You don't have to use this - you could simply write some paragraphs about the detector. But it may be helpful to you.
Detail Reviewing
This method is when you write a paragraph or two about every little detail of the metal detector.
Example:
Coil
The coil is a closed coil and it senses up to 8". Blah blah blah...
Control Housing
The control box has several features, including discrimination, different hunting modes, pinpointing, blah blah blah...
Pros & Cons
Pros and Cons is when you list all the good things about it, and all the bad things about it. This goes best at the end of a review.
Example:
Pros - Deep sensing, lots of features, blah blah blah...
Cons - Only senses targets when the coil is moving. Slightly uncomfortable. Blah blah blah...

This also goes best at the end of a review. In this method, you give ratings to different features.
Example:
Depth: 7/10
Comfort: 5/10
Features: 9/10
Ease of Use: 7/10
Durability: 8/10
Overall: 8/10
The good and the bad
This is like a large version of pros & cons. You write paragraphs about the good things about it, and then you write paragraphs about its bad things. If there's something really bad about it, you may want to add another section called "The Ugly."
Example:
The Good
__________
This metal detector has lots of features and good depth. Blah blah blah...
The Bad
__________
This metal detector is a bit uncomfortable. Blah blah blah....
The Ugly
__________
This metal detector has a huge malfunction. If you press the pinpoint and sensitivity buttons at the same time, it explodes. Blah blah blah...
